Lil Nasty - Rock N Rolla 2 EP [Free Download]
With a release out today don't be surprised if Lil Nasty will be on Logan's show on Monday, if not the following week. With Rock N Rolla doing so well Lil Narst followed up with the second edition being released today. The ten track EP contains such tracks as Gangster, Fireworks and Bring Out Your 1 with Badness. Feature wise it's very small. As I just said Badness is on the EP, as is Miss Amba and Sho. Hit the jump for the tracklisting and download here.
Winner Of The 'Pull Up Riddim 2011' Vinyl [Competition]
Another week, another competition. This is the last one for a couple of weeks though as I'm off to Greece this evening, but there's plenty more lined up for when I come back! To win a Pull Up Riddim 2011 vinyl there was one simple question. As Launchpad Records released the track it involved the record label. The question was; Question: Pull Up Riddim 2011 is Launchpads what number release? The correct and winning answer came from Alexander Leubecher. The answer was C. 4. Launchpad have release four records. Two by Wiley (The Radio Kid & Joombi), one by Tre Mission (Maxin' Everything) and number four is the Pull Up Riddim 2011. Congratulations to Alex and look out for more competitions from the start of September!
Jammer - StreetSeekers Freestyle [Video]

| (Photography by Kids of Grime) |
Whilst Jammer has been organising Lord of the Mics III, I'm surprised he's had time to spit a freestyle for StreetSeekers. The amount of promotion and hype around the third edition of the classic Grime battling CD has been more than expected. The only thing with the freestyle is when Jammer says "keeping it straight UK" before spitting over the I'm On One beat. Regardless of the minor irony it's still a good freestyle from the Murkleman.
Lethal Bizzle - R8 Gang [Free Download]
Probably around six weeks ago now DJ Whoo Kid had two exclusive Lethal Bizzle tracks on his website. The first of which Bizzle himself let off for free download about three weeks ago, Bizzle's Back. Today we've got the pleasure of giving you the download link to R8 Gang. We all know how much Bizz loves his car, so he decided to spit over Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang instrumental and put his own twist on it. Download here.
Nico Lindsay - Mixclique Vision Freestyle [Video]
Whilst we've had a lack of tracks from Nico Lindsay since his joint release with Exo Remedy a few months back now, he keeps popping up now and then with new freestyles. So it's seems he hasn't stopped writing during this period, it's just he hasn't blessed our ears with any studio quality music in a while.
Wiley - Evolve Or Be Extinct [Free Download]
When Wiley puts out a new track it's either going to swing one way or the other. An auto-tuned complete pile of rubbish Pop attempt, or the complete opposite like this track Evolve Or Be Extinct. Wiley proves he can still swing it with the best in Grime. Although we've had plenty of cheese music from Will this year every few months he does drop a brilliant new Grime track. Download here.
Maxsta - Otis Freestyle [Video]
![]() |
| (Photography by Kids of Grime) |
Over the past week or so there's been a massive hype around Jay-Z's and Kanye West's album release. A stand out track from the Throne album being Otis. The track sees the two American rappers go back to back throughout the track. Chipmunk and Wretch 32 done the same with their version here. Recently signed Maxsta spits over the same beat but just on his own. It's still a decent freestyle though.
Dimples & Styler - Moeshin' Pictures Freestyle [Video]
DJ Scope of Moeshin' Pictures added two North London MCs to the list of artists he's filmed recently. Scope caught up with GFam duo of Dimples and Styler. Both artists have CDs out at the moment with this freestyle showcasing the talent you'll find throughout the release. Pick up Dimples the Last Laugh Volume 3 via iTunes as well as Styler's Perfect Timing EP too via iTunes.

Jon and Coke Zero believe that one person's actions can make anything possible and are reaching out to everyone passionate about dance to help them create the next hype global dance. Krypto Klan - OMG (Showtime) [Video]
More than likely if you're from the Birmingham area you should know about at least one of the three artists involved in Kyrpto Klan, if not all three. Yesterday when I posted the latest After Hours set I spoke about Romo from Brum. Romo features during the OMG (Showtime) as the second MC on the track. Another artist who we've supported once or twice in the past is Stormz who kicks the track off. Nemes is the man behind the track as Reiss finishes off the track on the vocal side of things. Keep an eye out for more music coming from the Midlands trio in the future.
Footsie - Do You Get Me Boss? [Release]
It's a shame, but true. Many tracks from Grime artists get played on the radio but never get a release for some reason. Back in May we heard Footsie's Do You Get Me Boss? for the first time. Since then it's gone a little under the radar and looked like to be another forgotten track. Thankfully it isn't. The track will get released on Braindead Entertainment alongside two remixes from DJ Tubby and Skitz Beatz. So for those who aren't big fans of Foots on Bassline there's two more Grimier remixes to be released instead. Listen to clips below.
Original Mix
DJ Tubby Remix
Skitz Beatz Remix
Bashy - Don't Go Freestyle [Audio]
Whilst Wretch 32 talks about his great time with music, Bashy has decided to change the concept with his version. Whilst Bish-Bash-Bosh still talks about music, he talks about the negative side of things. "Fought tooth and nail thinking 'should I knock it on the head'". It seems Bashy thought of giving up on the music game, but with an album coming out late this year / early next it won't be anytime soon...
Doller - Reebok's Back [Video]
"Throughout the past couple of months Rap fan have witnessed the developments as everyone has clambered to have a piece of the “Tupac Back” hype. From “Biggie Back” (Maino) to “Big Pun Back” (Joell Ortiz), the tributes to fallen soldiers have piled in. However, it wasn’t until the song’s original artists - Rick Ross and Meek Mill - were joined by Swizz Beatz that the vision was altered. From resurrecting the dead, it's now about reminiscing on the good old creps that had everyone raiding their closest JD. Now Edmonton’s Doller (known previously as Doller Da Dustman) has opted to offer his own take on the future classic track from the “Self Made, Vol. 1” Maybach Music Group album".
Doller will also be performing throughout England and Scotland from September. Hit the jump for the dates.
Jammin, Dimples, Durrty Skanx, Harry Shotta, Byron & Romo - After Hours Set [Video]
The latest After Hours set was a Gangster special. In total the Gangster project features twenty-one MCs laying down their lyrics over the ZDot production. Obviously not all the artists could fit in the studio, yet Logan still managed to get in half a dozen in the studio. It's good to see a couple names we've been supporting for a while on the blog get a break during the set too. Romo and Byron being the two names I'm going on about. Let's hope we'll hear more of their tracks on the Kiss airwaves from now on. Download the audio from the set here.
Win A 'Pull Up Riddim 2011' Vinyl [Competition]
As we promised a few weeks back we're going to be doing more and more competitions. Last week we gave away a Famous t-shirt by FranLee and three Big H x Flash G CDs to buyers of a Keep Calm t-shirt or jumper. Until this Friday, just before I pass the blog over to two members of the Team Supreme blog, you'll have the chance to win a vinyl. The Pull Up Riddim 2011 has been one of the stand-out Grime tracks of this year. Dexplicit managed to pull together Big H, Big Narstie, Durrty Goodz, Dot Rotten, Black The Ripper and Shizzle to all feature on the classic remake.
Launchpad Records got a-hold of the track which ceased as a single, but only during a computational CD. There's a simple question about Launchpad that you have to answer for the chance to win the 12" vinyl after the jump.
Lil Nasty - Gangster [Video]
Just as we guessed two weeks back, Gangster will feature on Rock N Rolla II as the sixth track of ten. Lil Nasty's track caused a bit of a stir when Logan span the track as it seems there's a few sly bars for Rival. "None of these guys ain't rock an' rollin', don't give a sh*t if your guns' reloading...". Whilst we thought the qualms had quietened down it seems Lil Narst wants to relight the fire. Rock N Rolla II is out on the 20th. Hit the jump for the tracklisting.
Marger - Street Starz Interview [Video]
After Marger's clash with Lay-Z at Lord of the Mics III it seemed we may have never been able to see the footage. Things got a bit heated in the basement with Lay-Z asking for a fourth round after the initial three. Maybe he thought he didn't get to showcase his lyrical talent fully, or maybe Marger just outshone him like many people assumed he would. Marger also apparently got rushed after the clash too. The East London MC sat down with Street Starz to clear up any rumors about Lord of the Mics plus talk about his new single Shadows.
Fumin - After Party [Release]
Last September when I interviewed Fumin he mentioned a track called After Party. "Watch out for mine and Flukes track ‘After Party’, certified smash hit!". Nearly a year down the line and it looks like After Party will be coming out as a single in October. The track itself has been signed to Wall of Sounds with the label making the track avaliable at all the usual download stores, e.g iTunes, Amazon, Play.com etc. A video has already been lined up for the track too.
Ed Sheeran Feat. Scrufizzer & Dot Rotten - You Need Me, I Don't Need You (True Tiger Remix) [Radio Rip]
Once again MistaJam gets another world exclusive. This time it was another remix of Ed Sheeran's forthcoming single - You Need Me, I Don't Need You. True Tiger were behind the remix production whilst Scrufizzer and Dot Rotten lay down the lyrical content. Last week we heard a remix from Wretch 32 and Devlin. Don't worry though, it's not some heavy wobble with a heavy metal guitar sort of Dubstep remix as we're use to in 2011.
Scrufizzer - Fizzy Flow [Video]
Although it seems only Durrty Goodz is on Scrufizzer's level when it comes to spitting fast, it would be nice for him to switch it up once in a while, it's always the same thing. Scrufizzer's latest video comes in the form of what looks like a basic Channel U video back in the day. Whilst he never slacks in lyrical content the hook on Fizzy Flow is awful. The switch ups during the track kind of ruin it. Minus those it's a very solid track from the West London MC.
Butterz & Hardrive @ Cable - 13th August [Audio]
By the sounds and looks of things Butterz shut the place down at Cable alongside Terror Danjah and DJ Champion. Elijah and Skilliam, Royal-T and Swindle all showed up in force for the Butterz camp and put on a very Grimy night. Terror Danjah was joined by D Double E for his set and even Bruza for a couple of minute too. DJ Champion mixed and blended the sounds of Funky whilst D.O.K didn't disappoint either. Below is footage of DEE's set via cameraman Aaron Hanson. You can download all the sets from the night after the jump too.
Global Gathering with Boy Better Know [Video]
Whilst I posted some shabby mobile phone footage a few weeks back of BBK at Global Gathering, here's some more in-depth high quality visuals for your eyes and ears. Frisco has started using YouTube a lot more as of recent with regularly uploading audio and now visuals. JME and Jammer took the trip up in JME's car whilst Shorty, Frisco and their manager took the trip in another. During the videos (part two after the jump) you'll catch the trip to Global Gathering, spitting over classic Grime, refixes, Dubstep and some Lil-B swag type beats too during their performance.
Rival, Roachee & Stutta - Why? [Video]
![]() |
| (Photography by Kids of Grime) |
Some people are saying that Grime is dead and many artists it seems are getting frustrated over how the music industry is run. Rival, Roachee and Stutta all share the same views about this it looks like. Rival's work-rate outshines many artists in the Grime scene, and it's a welcome return to music from Roachee. The East London representer talks about how Grime isn't dead whilst has a dig at MCs who've sold out and left the scene. Whilst Stutta contradicts Roachees bars by talking about making music that isn't just Grime.
Wretch 32 Feat. Wiley - Don't Go Remix [Free Download]
With Wretch 32 hitting the number one spot in the charts yesterday with Don't Go Wiley decided to let off his remix. It's not an official remix as you will be able to tell. Wiley chopped up the track and put it back together himself it sounds like. Once again Wiley and auto-tune come together for a track. Download here.
Mz Bratt's Interview with SK Vibemaker [Video]
Mz Bratt shocked many people with her track Selecta and today it still gets played on the regular in raves. The change of sound from the female artist made many people really step back and take in her versatility as an artist. Since getting signed last year Mz Bratt's music has been going from strength-to-strength. SK Vibemaker caught up with her recently to talk about Selecta, her new mixtape entitled Elements and if she thinks her looks have helped her along the way...
DeeKay - Front Door (Snippet) [Audio]
DeeKay has two projects coming up in the forthcoming weeks, but there's no indication to which mixtape Front Door is off. It could be taken from the No Sweat EP which is out on the 25th, or it could be from Nobodies Elf which is out on the 5th September. DeeKay decided to upload a quick snippet of Front Door with G.Tank on the productions.
Boy Better Know - Tropical 2 [Release]
Five years ago the Boy Better Know camp released the first version of Tropical, fast-forward to 2011 and JME has brought it back with the second CD in the series. The hype has been bubbling over this release as not all the producers names involved were released. It turns out Todd Edwards was the final name to be revealed. JME, Preditah, Royal-T and DJ Q are the other four producers involved in the new project. Pick up Tropical 2 now via iTunes.
Wretch 32 - F64 (S3.EP1) [Video]
![]() |
| (Photography by Kids of Grime) |
Kicking off season three of the F64s is Wretch 32. It's a shame the hype of the F64's has died though, but SB.TV are trying to bring it back for a third season. Wretch is currently the man of the moment, so it's only right he kicks off the new series. Don't Go is out Monday and the album Black and White is out on the 28th.
Edit: Live P.A of Don't Go on Charlie Sloth's show after the jump added.

Dream Mclean Feat. Delio Lima - Destiny [Audio]
Thankfully there's artists out there like Dream Mclean who constantly come with a new sound. Dream has taken the music game at several angles this year. Coke and Vodka, Golden, John and now Destiny have all sounded completely different. Destiny features Delio Lima who also produced the track alongside Anish Bhatt. Expect to hear this on either of MistaJam's or DJ Cameo's show in the near future.
Dexplicit Interview With Mixclique Vision [Video]
It's sad, but true that producers take a back-seat more times than not when a track is released. A lot of the time they're simply not even tagged properly during a release on iTunes or on the back of a CD case. The man who brought you the track that you'd show someone who knew nothing about the genre recently got interviewed. For those who don't know what track I'm on about, my opening line sums up my point exactly. Dexplicit talks about the Pull Up Riddim 2011 (buy the vinyl here), his opinion on the new wave of Grime MCs, plus how he keeps making bangers after bangers...
ZDot - Route To Success Part 3 [Free Download]
Release wise with Grime producers this year it has simply been ZDot's year. ZDot really broke through in 2010 and made a name for himself as one of the top Grime producers around. During 2011 he's capatalised on his success with constant quality releases. With A New Light and Gangsters EP now behind him Z is looking to the future. Route to Success Part 3 is a free download filled with ZDot and The Elite beats (ZDot & Dan Dare collaborations). As well as instrumentals there's vocals from Griminal, Rival, Revolver and Manga too. Download the free mixtape here and hit the jump for the tracklisting.
J2K & Ayo - Get Down [Video]
J2K has always brings a different style to the game. Like Dizzee Rascal during his early days in Grime J2K has always had a sound ahead of the times. Whilst many Grime fans may not be a fan of his new single WTF (Electrik), Get Down should capture your ears. As usual J's flow is on a different level to the current crop of MCs around, it matches the beat perfectly. Ayo can also step up with lyrics such as "tell me she OG like Nikki, but she don't spit, she swallow". It's a refreshing track from the Roll Deep crew member.
SBD - Tim & Barry Freestyle [Video]
SBD is a rising talent from Manchester. Those who locked into Channel U just after it's peak as it was going down hill will probably recognise him. As the Sky TV channel started slipping in cheesey music for the money and non-UK Urban music, SBD submitted his track Where Are You Now? Since then naturally he's improved lyrically. SBD now rolls with the likes of Wrigz and is apart of the crew C4. At only seventeen expect to hear more from the young MC.
Nytz - Ghost EP (Preview) [Audio]
The producer Nytz who's worked very closely with Rival has a new EP out in just under two weeks time. The Ghost EP is Nytz first solo release since the Detox EP. In between though Rival vs Nytz was released. That EP contained all vocals from Rivz with all the beats coming from Nytz. The Ghost EP is four tracks strong with a snippet of each track below. In order they're entitled; Happy Ending, Suck Out, I Think I'm Gonna Do Sick and finally Moody.
Stelf - SMH [Video]
For some reason it seems Stelf has taken a step back with this video. Not as in the quality of the track or video, but with the selection of the track. Shake My Head was released last December and Stelf has been talking about working on Shake My Head Volume 2. So I don't understand why he's released a video for such an old track really. For those who don't know about Stelf, here's a little introduction to his sound. For those who do, enjoy the video. Download SMH the mixtape for free here.
Tré Mission - Judas [Free Download]
Sampling started around the end of the 1970s/start of the 1980s. Since then it's become an acceptable thing in music. At first it caused an uproar. Tré Mission has sampled two classic tracks for his latest free download Judas. Carrying on with the weekly giveaways Tré Mission of Toronto, Canada sampled Michael Jackson's Why? and SWV's Right Here. Download the track here.
Ghetts - BTS Lightwork Freestyle [Video]
So it looks like Ghetts has once again linked up with Rival for a track. Grime scene favourite Roachee also makes a feature as does Stutta. The video was shot the other day and Street Zone Ent caught some footage from the day. Nothing regarding the release of the video has been leaked yet, but here's Ghetts behind the scenes spitting an acapella freestyle.
