It was all the way back at the end of October last year we heard Dirty Danger drop Hard Bodied (here). Seven months down the line and we finally see a video for the track. After not hearing it in a while, I assumed it was one of those radio tracks or throw away tracks, seems not. The concept being girls working out in the gym before moving onto another location for a little house party as such. As Post Diddy said, there's not much of a budget to the video itself. It's probably going to be a YouTube video and maybe feature on Channel AKA. Who knows...
Ministry of Sound - Remix SLK - Hype Hype [Competition]
All producers dabble from genre to genre from time to time. Some just jump on any hype that's going. That's what Ministry of Sound have done. The Dubstep hype this year. But like everything posted on here, it's related back to Grime. All you have to do is remix the legendary Grime track Hype Hype by North Weezies SLK. Ministry of Sound are looking for Dubstep, so if you fancy your chances, check out the full details here on their website.
Master Feat. Ghetts - So Amazing [Audio]
Just by looking at the title, you can tell it's a sweetboy tune. From time to time, it's not bad to listen to tracks like this. But if your one of those hardcore Bloodline fans from GrimeForum, your going to think "moist" straight away. I found this after a friend pointed it out to me on Facebook tonight. I haven't heard of Master before, and we all know Ghetts though. Lately, G-H has been playing with various genres. You've heard him send war dubs for P Money, make a track like Artillery, but he's also worked with the likes of Princess Nyah too. Ghetts' sound is maturing in a sense. He's building his every-growing discography and filling it with various genres. If you want to go mainstream, you can't just stick with Grime. But, Giggs did with rap, so maybe I'm wrong...
Trilla - Ras Kwame MC Session [Video]
The Pirate Sessions are back with DJ Cameo, now Ras Kwame brings us the MC Sessions. To kick things off, Ras called on one of Birminghams finest for a ten minute session. When you have a track out / coming out, promotion is everywhere. Who Are Ya? is out on the 17th May, and the good thing about Trilla is that he can jump from genre to genre. He can spit over the popular northern sound of Bassline, the dying out genre called Funky, plus he even does a good job on Grime. Kicking off the set is the Woo Riddim, but then we heard the Bassline kick in. Yep, Trilla flows over everything this time...
Smurfie Syco - I Can't Help It, I'm The Best [Free Mixtape]
I noticed this earlier in the day via Smurfie Sycos Twitter. Whilst getting ready for the gym, I listened to I think the sixth, and up to there, it didn't sound so bad. Let's face it, if it was bad, I wouldn't post it. After the release of a mixtape or album, an artist normally tours like mad, rests for a while, then we don't hear from them for ages. To keep his ever-growing fanbase happy, in the matter of four hours Smurfie Syco banged out an eighteen track mixtape. They're all short tracks, but remember, four hours. Catch the download over at Smurfies bandcamp page by clicking here.
InfaRed - Channel AKA Freestyle [Video]
For all those who thought InfaRed who only the guy who coughed into a mic, your very wrong. He also has bars too. I wasn't expecting him to be as good as he was during this freestyle. After hearing so many songs by one person, when they step their levels up, it sometimes comes as a suprise. That's what Nu Brand's Infa has gone and done. It's an exclusive freestyle for Channel AKA, so check it out here. On the subject of Nu Brand, have you seen their song for the Conservative Party? It's a remix of their track Runway. It's alright, but when they switch the style up at the end, please Nu Brand, make more tracks like this. The ending reminds of of Feel So Good where JamKilla goes in at the end of the track. Check it out here on the BBC website.
Wiley Leaves Island Records? [News]
It looks like WileyCat has left yet another record label. He's added Island Records to his long line of labels he's left. Before Island there was Big Dada where the deal was 50/50, then there was Atlantic and we all know about XL Records. Will quickly banged out the single Take That which reached number twenty in the singles charts and number two in the dance charts. According to Wikipedia he left in March, but it was confirmed on Tuesday with a chat with MTV. Wiley is also putting out a track entitled Electric Boogaloo. The video was shot the other day, and according to a source that was at the video shoot, "it looked like Wiley didn't put his heart into the track, nor did he like it". Well, what's next for Will...?
Roll Deep - SB.TV Interview [Video]
You can argue from dusk till dawn about if Roll Deep are Grime anymore, but if your sitting at number one in the charts three days after the release, you know your doing something right. The crew originally based in East London released their latest track Good Time on the 26th and it's already higher than Usher, Chipmunk plus Plan B. I'm not a huge fan of Good Times personally, but the crew has been around for so long, it's time to make some mainstream money like Tinchy said.
Edit Post: Part Two
Lethal Bizzle - Go Go Go / vs BNP [Release/News]
With all the adverts saying May 17th, forgive me for being a couple days late. On the 26th April Lethal Bizzle, the man behind the Grime anthem Pow! released his latest track Go Go Go. It's a far cry from Pow!, but this track won't get banned in the clubs. It's a more electro style from the Bizzle, and let's hope it pays off for him. As well as that, Twitter has got the Bizz in a but of trouble with the love to hate BNP party. Now, I don't want to copy and paste everything like some blogs, so it's easier if you read it here. But, when the BNP quote bars that aren't actually Bizzles, you know something is wrong with them, let alone the racism. Help Bizzle in the charts by buying Go Go Go here on iTunes.
Bashy On Come Grime With Me [Video]
For a while now, Sony Ericsson have been running a series called Pocket TV. Bish Bash Bosh has already featured on the show before when boxing. Other artists who've showed their face on their YouTube channel include N-Dubz' Dappy as well as Lethal for the B. In Pocket TV's latest video, you've got the Skank actor 'making' presenter Matt Edmondson a meal. It's a spin off of the popular show your mother watches when nothing else is on, Come Dine With Me.
Badness - Lava Continues 2 [Audio Sampler]
It looks like the little war dubs between Grime Forum and Badness have ended. It did give us a couple of laughs along the way though. Back Badness is back to business with the release of his new mixtape - Lava Continues 2. After the sucess of Lava Continues, it was only right to bring out a second edition. Below you'll hear a sampler of what is going to be on the mixtape. With features from Frisco, Skepta and Little Narsty, it's something you should really add to your collection if you like Grime...
Rude Kid - Exsit [Free Instrumental]
It's a Thursday, and you know what that means, a free instrumental from Rude Kid. In the build up to his forthcoming album Are You Ready?, the young producer has decided to give away a few beats. Every Thursday up until May 10th when the album is released Rude Kid is clearing out his beats and putting them up for free download for his fans. This week we've got something slightly different. The beat is more of a trance track, far from Grime. It's not something you'd really spit over, it's an instrumental you'd probably zone out to if anything. Check it out by downloading it here.
Mayhem - UGS TV Freestyle [Video]
If you think you recognise the name Mayhem, maybe you saw this infamous video on Channel U a few years back. Since then they've grown up, but there's no Shifty in this freestyle though. The producer Undaground Soundz caught up with Slayer, Remdog, Blizzard and Napz. Whilst on the subject of the Manchester crew, they've also put a video out for the track Money On My Mind (here). It's also up for free download, download here.
Princess Nyah Feat. Griminal & Ghetts - Hooligans Remix [Video]
If you read the blog regularly, you would of spotted the behind the scenes a couple of weeks ago (here). Yet again, with most of the Channel AKA videos with relevantly big names in, you've got Digital Dan behind the camera again. Digital Dan also shot the video Shot Music with Devlin and Giggs, as well as another video by Ghetts, Artillery. His latest project was to put a video together for this Funky tune by Princess Nyah alongside Griminal and the man who once was known as Ghetto - Ghetts.
Usually as it's Funky, I wouldn't post it. But due to it relating back to Grime with Ghetts and Grim, it deserves to be showcased. Griminal makes a quick pass through with eight bars, and Ghetts also doing a similar feature too. The track exposes the duo to the Funky crowd, and visa-versa with Princess Nyah and the Grime scene. It'll get a few airplays, and do expect to here this in clubs near you soon. If you do, remember where you heard it first...
Wiley, Tinie Tempah, Devlin + More - Wolves 27th June [Event]
Performing at Wolverhamptons Civic Centre on the 27th June you've got a handful of chart topping artists. The Big Fest is an annuel event which happends each year, and this year it's got some of Grimy characters attending. The Godfather of Grime Wiley has been booked, alongside the recently signed Devlin and Tinie Tempah whos latest release went to number one. You've also got the likes of Mz Bratt making an appearance, Nu Brand and McLean too. Tickets are £22 plus a booking fee, that's probably the extra pound or something. Check the Facebook page for more info (here), and purchase your tickets here via TicketMaster.
Trilla - Who Are Ya? (S-X Grime Remix) [Radio Rip]
For me, the original wasn't really going to ever get played on my laptop. I'd dance to it at a rave, but I couldn't see myself sitting at home bobbing my little Grime head to it. But this remix by a seventeen year old sensation, yes. S-X is starting to prove he's no one-hit-wonder and he does have talent. His latest production coming in a remix of Trillas new Funky track Who Are Ya? If you read my blog on a regular, you may know of my hate for Funky, Bassline or anything similar. So when I came across this radio rip remix, I had to showcase it to my viewers. Hopefully this'll get a release on the Who Are Ya? EP. It'll get various pull-ups on my iTunes...
Maveric & Tinchy Stryder - Westwood Freestyle / Interview [Video]
When you've got the support of Tinchy Stryder and two EPs under your belt in quick sucession, your going to make a slight dent in the music game. Although Maveric is now signed to Tinchys label, he's far from Grime. He's more rap if anything. You'll notice this when he spits on the Westwood show. I say spits and not freestyles due to the fact he's reading it off his Blackberry. I'm not sending shots his way, I'm just saying. Maveric is certainly a talent you'll hear more from in 2010, but don't expect him to make an impact for a year or two. After he builds up a loyal fanbase, then we'll see him charting alongside Tinchy. Appearing on the Westwood show isn't a bad start though. As well as Maverics freestyle, Tinchy and Mav speak to the Big Dawg about the whole P vs Ghetts situation. It seems they aren't that interested...

DJ Spooky - Fresh Out Of The Box EP [Free Download]
Just like Shorty of Boy Better Know did, DJ Spooky has released some material via Boxfresh. The British clothing label supported the Grime scene throughout 2009, and into 2010, it seems they're in it for the long-run. In their latest piece of promotion for the scene they caught up with DJ Spooky for an interview (here) and helped released this free EP entitled Fresh Out of the Box. It's got features from OGz, M.I.K and Merky Ace plus Boy Better Know' Skepta. Download it here, and check the tracklisting after the jump.
JME & Shorty - Live in Birmingham [Video]
I honestly think I could sit here hours on end watching anything filmed by Despa of Stay Fresh. The quality of his camera is amazing, it's the best I've seen in a while. This time Despa caught the Boy Better Know duo of JME (left) and Shorty (off right centre) at a rave in Birmingham. Whoever was DJing that night, I owe you a pat on the back. DJ Maximum couldn't stop dropping the best beats about. Rhythm N Gash, Eskimo and Woo just being a few of the instrumentals that JME and Shorty had the pleasure of spitting over that night. What amazes me is the reaction the SX production got when it was played. It's true, Grime does sell, Grime can hold raves, Grime is going to have a bigger year this year than the previous.
Gorillaz Feat. Bashy & Kano – White Flag on Jools Holland [Video]
Last week the East London rapper turned soul man Plan B tore down the Jools Holland stage, this week, it was done again. Grime exploded mainstream-wise in 2009, and it's not slowing down in 2010. We see artists on the daily now on mainstream television and in the news. They're also expanding their sounds into different genres and finding their feet with a particular sound. Take Tinie for example, the Drum and Bass twist worked on Pass Out, and it's been used on his forthcoming single Frisky too.
On the subject of moving in and out of genres, when I heard the news Kano was going to feature on a Gorillaz track, I was pretty shocked. The Home Sweet Home star did do a cover / remix version of Feel Good Inc. a few years back in Radio Ones Live Lounge, but I wasn't expecting this. Nor was I expecting Bashy to join him on the track either. The feature of the The Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music also threw spanners in the gas works too.
The duo appeared on the Jools Holland show the other night to perform their track with the Gorillaz called White Flag. The track is taken from the Gorillaz latest album Plastic Beach. If you haven't heard the track before, don't get put off by the long build up, because if your a fan of either Bashy or Kano, you should like what your about to hear...
Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Disco [Video Teaser]
Freshly uploaded to YouTube is the official teaser of Dizzee Rascal's forthcoming single, Dirtee Disco. It's taken from the forthcoming re-release of Tongue 'n Cheek. I'm glad to see the video is a very typical rubbish British disco. Dizzee is staying true to his British roots. It's not one of those flashy American videos with guys smoking weed, fast cars and bling. I'm sure we'll see some half naked girls, but whos video doesn't these days...?
Little Narsty - Behind the Scenes [Photos]
Via the Nasty Brothers Facebook updates, I noticed that Lil Narst has been shooting a new music video. He didn't seem to mention which one though. Little Narsty has a mixtape Narsty by Nature that is coming out soon like many artists claim, and it finally looks like we could soon hear some new material from the Narsty Brother. Here's a few snaps from the day, catch much more on the DTALDN website here.
D Double E - Street Fighter Riddim [Audio]
There's been various Street Fighter Riddims, maybe due to there being various Street Fighter games. You'll probably remember when Dizzee Rascal flowed over a version a few years back (here), but it's the turn of fellow Dirtee Stank-er D Double E to have a go. DEE spits on a more re-vamped and dirty bassed version of the Street Fighter Riddim. If your new to Grime, D Double is that Grime legend who gets ratings left, right and centre. With a flow and lyrics like this, it's clear to see why D Double E is still rated so highly even today. Also, pick it up for your iTunes by downloading here.
9 Milli Major - Rude Boy Ting [Video]
A few days after releasing the track as a free download, a video for Rudeboy Ting appears from the woodwork. At first, I didn't even realise the indirects and shots at Roll Deep or Sharkey Major. I had a sly feeling about Scorcher when 9 Milli says "thinks he's bad, went jail for a driving offence, and a little bit of punk". As usual with YouTube comments, the opinions are mixed. You've got the Bloodline fan boys saying 'it's sick', then you've got others saying 'quite terrible'. What'd you think? Did 9 Mill burry those guys? Or was it a waste of time? Myself, I thought it was a decent track before I even realised the sends...
Frisco & Jammer @ I Luv Live [Video]
It looks like Stay Fresh seem to be linking up with Londons Grime scenes finest. We've seen them work with both members of the Newham Generals and most recently with Frisco (centre) for the track Training Day. Despa is again behind the high quaility camera again to catch Big Fris as well as the Murkleman Jammer at I Luv Live.
Frisco performs his track Badman off Back to Da Lab Vol. 3 as well a new track off his new album entitled Hustle. I thought to myself that Frisc is copying Dizzee's flow that he used on Jus' A Rascal a bit when he started spitting Hustle, but it turns out it was done on purpose. I presume the lyrics "definitely I hustle blud, definitely I grind" will be samples of Dizzee when the track actually comes out. As usual, the artists sing or spit infront of a live band. When Frisco spits over the Woo Riddim by the band, that's the point I realised I really need to get myself down to one of these events.
Jammer (right) later joins the Boy Better Know crew member on stage (like he did with Hammer a few weeks back) to spit his most merorable lyrics, the classics, plus his most hyped bars too. The duo ask the band to continue with the Woo Riddim, and let's just say, it's worth the watch...
M.I.K - Earthquake II Freestyle [Audio]
M.I.K hit the studio to make a little something to get you excited about his forthcoming release Grime to Five. The Flash G production is a mixture of his best bars of recent, but it's probably a track just to showcase the hype M.I brings to the scene and to showcase his lyrical talent. The workrate with M.I.K is always high, and here's a reason to add Grime to Five to your hopefully ever growing Grime collection...
P Money - Slang (Live) + OGz Set Clips [Video/Audio]
Finally we see the return of the pirate sessions by 1Xtras DJ Cameo. The pirate sessions are done to bring back the good ol' days when a couple of artists would get booked for a set, yet, they'd bring their whole crew plus more. In the latest pirate session we've got South Londons finest Grime crew, OGz. P Money strolles into the studio to spit a live version of his forthcoming single with Sukh Knight - Slang Like This. With P you've got Blacks, Jendor, Ruger and DJ JJ on the decks. Of course they spit over Grime classics and new instrumentals, but this is Blacks and P, they love a bit of Dubstep too. Sweet Shop by Doctor P gets a play during the set. Catch P Money performing live below, listen to clips from the set further down, and download the full set here.

OGz - Pirate Session Clip [Audio]
Stutta Feat. AL - Commitment [Video]
If you sat on your sofa bored a few years back on a raining day, you would of probably switched on Channel U. If so, do you remember Konk? "Konk 1, konk 2, konk 3, konk 4..." - remember those lyrics? That was Stutta. He got onto Channel U just before the decline of the Channel before turning into Channel AKA. He's back with a brand new sound, no more hype about konking wars. His new track Commitment is more of a mellow vibe about a girlfriend situation. We've all been there, but not everyone has the talent to make a track about it...
Doller Da Dustman - Logan Sama Freestyle [Audio]
Yesterday saw the release of the Go Getterish EP, and at nearly 1am this morning Doller Da Dustman showed us the levels that would feature on the EP. The clip is just short of seven minutes long, who remembers the half an hour sets? My favourite beat being from J Beatz and Mr Mitch, I'll look into adding that one to my personally collection. Don't forget to listen back to the full show by clicking here and showing Kiss our support for Logan.
BeatGeeks - Art of Production [Release]
Yesterday was the day of releases. We saw the Go Getterish EP by Doller Da Dustman and Z-Dot get a release, Swindle - Airmiles EP, Nightmare (digital release) got pushed back till the middle of May by Skepta, Badness & Little Narsty, and I missed this one though. It was brought to my attention today that BeatGeeks, the producers behind most of Wariko's tracks released their twenty-two track download.
If your a fan of general UK Urban music, this is the mixtape/album (whatever you want to call it) for you. You've got your Grime with Ruff Sqwad, Rap with Desperado, Bassline with Chloe and Jay Digga, plus a Garage & Hip-Hop mash-up with Vader. The track Nottz to Brum actually has the sort of feel the Mitchell Brothers would of used. I can't personally see myself buying the whole album due to my hate for Funky and similar beats, but the Wariko and Ruff Sqwad tracks are going straight into my iTunes when my wages are paid. Pick up twenty-two tracks for an amazing value of £7.99 here on iTunes.
Once Upon A Grime Meets Slix [Interview]
Slix is part of the legendary Grime crew Ruff Sqwad. After the sucess of Down Vol. 1 & 2 individually, plus Guns & Roses Vol. 1 & 2 with Ruff Sqwad, he's back with his new track I Ball and a new EP. I Ball features two RS members, Tinchy Stryder and Dirty Danger, plus the man signed to Akon's lable, Sway. I caught up with him the other day to discuss everything Slix. The new EP, how the scene has changed, plus Guns and Roses 3 even got brought up...
Big Narstie - Daily Duppy Freestyle [Video]
There's a part of me still slightly gutted that Big Narst didn't step into the Mic Fight ring the other weekend. He's got to be one of the most under-rated and overlooked in the Grime scene. His talks about road life like many others, but his bars are constantly funny and his lyrical talent is on par with the highest in the scene. He spits with a slower flow, rap would also suit him well too. With the release of the new Grime Daily Crep Check jumpers, expect to see many Daily Duppy's from the artists wearing them. We've already seen Paper Pabz do so (here).
Dizzee Rascal - ITN News Interview [Video]
It looks like the Bow boy is really Standing Up Tall this summer. After his latest album Tongue n' Cheek going platinum, Dizzee plans on re-releasing the CD with bonus added material this time. We already know his forthcoming release Dirtee Disco is going to make a feature, and the Rascal thinks it'll be more popular than last summers smash hit Bonkers. There's already a video shot for Dirtee Disco as well. Dizzee is performing throughout the summer, so there won't be a true Holiday for the chart-topper, he won't be able to put his feet up and relax, but I'm pretty sure he'll have a good time regardless. Let's wait and see how he does...
Wariko, Desperado & Fangol - Keep On Parrin' [Mini Video]
Last week we saw another version of a video for this track, but it was more of a studio video if anything (here). A little bit of promotion before the final draft of the official video was ready. This time around they've hit the streets of Nottingham, and the forest of Nottingham too actually. Like every cameraman, you can't stick to just filming freestyles and raves. Sketch' skills have been tested with this track, and it's about his eighth music video shot. It's a good attempt of a video, and with the more he makes, the better they'll become. This time next year when he's making bigger and better things, remember where you heard it first. Check out the OGz crew member, two of Nottinghams finest and Nottinghams finest cameraman too below.
REC / Startzy - Fresh TV Freestyle [Video]
These two young MCs both recently caught up with Fresh TV for a freestyle. You would have seen several REC tracks and videos here on Once Upon A Grime. Last year his mixtape 'Press Play' sold out twice at UK Recordshop and REC decided to put it up for free download mid-way through Febuary this year (here).
As for Startzy, if you've been following the Mic Fight hype, you would have noticed he was part of the trio that clashed North Londons Marvell. From there, things can only go up for him. That clash has exposed him dramatically, and we'll probably see more collaborations and a mixtape soon too. Don't forgot to vote for him by texting 'Clash BullyStarTerror' to 60999 For Terrorsum, Startzy Ctm & Bully to win Mic Fight.

Mercston, Stamina, Soulja Kid & Doller - Tryna Make G's [Video]
Vocalling the same Dirty Dange instrumental as Ruff Sqwad did on Tinchy Stryder's Gold album - Catch 22, Mercston (above), Stamina, Soulja Kid & Doller Da Dustman have remixed the title and lyrics. Originally the beat was used for a track called Tryna Be Me, the four artists have put their own twist on it and renamed the track Tryna Make G's. If you didn't know G's = Grands - money, okay? The Chas Appeti video production appeared earlier this morning, and it's already racking up close to a thousend views already.
Frisco - Training Day (Behind The Scenes) [Video]
With every other video nowadays, there's a behind the scenes. It gives the artist that little bit more exposure, showcases the talent behind the concept for the video, and also adds to the YouTube views count too. The latest behind the scenes I've come across is for the more of a Hip-Hop beat production by S-X, vocalled by Boy Better Know' Frisco (centre). There's been many London to the Midlands link-ups recently. P Money and Vader, Desperado and Wariko, plus now, Frisco and Stay Fresh. Big Fris went up to Birmingham to meet up with the Stay Fresh crew for the production of his latest video. It featured Despa behind the camera, S-X with the production, and vertially the whole crew made a cameo in the video too.
Slix Feat. Tinchy Stryder, Sway & Dirty Danger - I Ball [Video]
After being played on various radio shows, including Mista Jam's show, the official video for I Ball was released today. Slix who's back on music now brings in two of his Ruff Sqwad crew members - Tinchy Strdyer and Dirty Danger - plus probably the biggest name in UK Hip-Hop - Sway. The video matched the theme of the track in the video being shot at a basketball court. Sway's gone and taken his braids off and Dirty Dange is on the hook for this one. Tinchy shows us he can still cut it at the roots of the music scene and Slix shows us he hasn't fallen off since his short break, he's still got it. The track is taken from the Daddy Home EP, and you'll hear more from Slix this week when I post our interview up. Keep it locked to Once Upon A Grime...
iCon - Be Like Me [Video]
Shot around iCon's home estate in London by CL Vision is the hood video for Be Like Me. This is the latest in the long line of videos that CL are putting out recently, and due to their hardwork, that's probably why the young MC put his faith into deliverying a top quality hood video.
Devlin Feat. Giggs - Shot Music [Video]
At first when I heard this, I thought it would probably just be one of those throwaway radio tracks. After the reception it gained, the both recently signed artists decided it needed a video to go alongside it. Devlin being recently signed to Island Records, and Giggs signing to XL at the end of last year. The video was premiered last week on Channel AKA, plus, yet again though, we've got the genius that is Digital Dan behind the camera. I'm sure it'll get released due to the pure demand of the 320kbps of this track. I can't see it charting high though, it's a street track, not a chart one. If your wondering, yes, that is an Abuze London crew neck Devlin is wearing. But the question is, what genre would you class this track under?
Roll Deep - F64 [Video]
For the six-fourth F64, SB gave the Roll Deep guys a call and drew them in for this special occasion. Getting a legendary Grime crew wasn't a bad decision if I say so myself. As usual, there's no Wiley.
Brazen has reinvented himself since his return to the scene, and his standards have shot up dramatically since then. As I stated the other day, Manga is getting rating from me from his high work rate and constantly writting new bars. We all know the concept of the F64s, so here's another example of it. Scratchy on the otherhand, wow. Out of the four he's my favourite flowing over the Where's Wiley Remix beat. Scratch has also returned to the Grime scene in the past six months. I'm glad to see his return. The East London spits all about football teams in his F64 - "I'll leave you in a Nottingham Forest" - "I've got the same Barnet". Then he starts spitting the alphabet with his lyrics. I hope to hear more from him in the very near future. Breeze also gives us his two-cents worth at the end over the same instrumental as Scratchy too.
Don't forget, Good Times is out today! Pick up a copy via iTunes here.
Trilla - Flush Raw Freestyle [Video]
When you have a single out/coming out, any bit of promotion helps. With this in mind, Birminghams Trilla decided that he should catch the beat perfectly for Flush Raw and drop a little freestyle. If your not sure who to listen to out of the Midlands scene, check Trilla. He can flow over Grime, Hip-Hop, Bassline and even Funky with his new track, Who Are Ya? (here). Check out his freestyle below.
New Star In The Hood Clothing [Preview]
I'm not a big fan of artist clothing much anymore if I'm honest, I'm past that phase. Yes, I did have the original Star In The Hood top and a Boy Better Know tee too, but I'll let the youngers rock those now. But let's not lie, you would wear that baseball jacket Tinchy is modelling in the above picture. The SITH brand has come a long way in a short time. Originally, Tinchy made the SITH tops to raise funds for his first album. Nowadays, he's taken it to a next level. It could be the Rocafella of the UK soon. Above is a sneak preview of what's to come, it looks like the Bow boy has even got tracksuits lined up too...
Ghetts & Griminal - Love Music, Hate Racism - Live [Video]
Ghetts (left centre) and Griminal (far left) turned up the Love Music, Hate Racism performance expecting a crowd, they didn't get one. Not that the people weren't there, they were just dead. It's not like it was even out of town in some place where Grime isn't popular or heard of, it was in Barking. Whilst there, the duo entered the stage with their bars they wrote for the She Likes To (England 10 Remix). Following that track, Ghetts and Grim spat the Don't Phone Me Remix before ending with Top 3 Selected. They didn't even pick bad songs, nor did they not put effort into the performace. Ghetts was hype as usual with popular tracks and Griminal put on a decent show too. What a shame the crowd ruined it...
Romo - Hacked Me [Audio]
Poor Romo, ten days before the release of his mixtape - Jam Your Hype - his Twitter gets hacked. To make things worse, his new one gets suspended. Not to miss an oppertunity, Romo quickly hit the studio to make this short track for his fans. Get ready for the last ditch promotion and Romo to spam up your Twitter home page, oh, wait...
