Haiti Fundraising Footage

I really need to upload some stuff a lot quicker. These have both been sitting in my bookmarked for over a week too. The first video containg Sway performing some of his classic tracks that got him to where he is now. I wish he was still doing that sort of stuff to be honest. The second video containing everyone from Ghetts to OGz to Heartless Crew. To anyone who doesn't know, overall, the night raised £10,000.

Lady Leshurr – UnLeshurr (Free Download)

This is another thing that's been sitting in my bookmarks for about a week or so. As it's Sunday and I always give away a mixtape, here's the latest release by Lad Leshurr. If you've got the 'Sexy Beast Vol. 1' mixtape by Tinie Tempah, skip to track 7 entitled 'Where We Come From', she's on there with Black the Ripper. The tracklisting is below and click the picture for the download link.

McLean - My Name (Video)

The other day I showed you the Boy Better Know and Scorcher remixes to the track. Finally, McLean has a video to it. I know it's not Grime, but it won't suprise me if either BBK or Scorcher make a quick video too for the track.

Once Upon A Grime Meets J Beatz (Interview)

I recently caught up with the young producer J Beatz to discuss his promo that's droppin' tomorrow, what's his favourite genre to make and how easy is it to produce.

Name: J Beatz
Age: 17
Location: Enfield
Crew: Solo
Occupation: Student/DJ Tutor

OUaG: Outside Grime Forum it’s fair to say you’re not so well known. So can you explain to the readers who don’t already know you who you are?

J Beatz: I’m J Beatz a producer from North London some may know me from my productions on Big H’s Street Crime UK CD (Assasin, Life & Death, Nightmare),  some may know me off my previous promo’s and productions.

OUaG: How did you get into producing?

J Beatz: Well my older brother (J Jules) has been producing for years before I even thought of starting and I just used to watch him make beats and it was a natural progression to just jump on it ‘cause it looked fun and I haven’t stopped since.

OUaG: What’s your favourite genre to produce? And what genre is the hardest for you to perfect?

J Beatz: My favourite is Grime all day nowadays I ain’t even on making experimental stuff and venturing into other genres (Even though I have done in the past) I’m just trying to make what got me this far anyway which is Grime. Bassline is definitely the hardest for me to produce it’s a bit tricky with all them funny basslines after a while I just get bored and start making a grime beat.

OUaG: Have you ever picked up the mic rather than just sticking to the decks? How’d that work out if you did?

J Beatz: I used to spit way back in the day with my cousin in year 7 my name was Easy Money I even performed in an assembly once but that’s air now! If I spat now I would actually have nothing to talk about content wise might have a good flow doe but that’s it to be honest.

OUaG: Have you had any previous releases? Or is ‘1st of the Month’ your first?

J Beatz: I have had a few promo’s out in the past my last one was Have A Butchers Vol. 2 which came out in December 2008 which was kinda swag thinking about it but their all old levels this one is a lot more up to date even though there’s a few oldies from 09 their still worth the download.

OUaG: There are 10 remixes and only 2 beats produced by you on there. What made you want to showcase your talent for remixing rather than your own beats? Can we expect a full J Beatz instrumental release soon or something?

J Beatz: It wasn’t a conscious decision I just had a few remixes lying around which I had no plans to use at all so I thought I would give it away so it don’t rot on my pc and just keep my name out there. I have another promo coming out on the 5th of April called The Crown Jules EP Revisited which is a full instrumental release there’s instrumentals in there vocaled by Devlin, Revolver, Big H, Sharky Major so that should be a nice one as well and I got a vinyl EP coming out soon as well just sorting out some stuff for that as well.

OUaG: Which is the more fun of the two to do, remix or create an original beat?

J Beatz: Remixes are cool ‘cos you can take a tune and put your own spin on it which is bless, but remixes can’t really do much for you which a original beat will.  An original beat however can be getting pumped on several radio shows and raves etc which is much more effective in my opinion.

OUaG: Is sampling a big part of your beat making? Or do you make most of your work from scratch?

J Beatz: I barely sample nowadays I think I only sampled like 4 tunes in 09. Sampling is alright but now I fully can’t be bothered to go out my way to look for samples which is time I could have used to create an original beat from scratch.

OUaG: Are there any plans to work with some MCs in the near future? Can you name any names if so?

J Beatz: Yeah there’s a few in the pipeline but I ain’t gonna say no names ‘cos I’ve said some before and when things flop and I’m not on releases which I was told I was gonna be on. It makes me look like bad as well but there is definitely some collabs from big mc’s to look forward to.

OUaG: To finish up our quick little interview, anything you want to say before we end or shout outs?

J Beatz: Yeah download my promo 1st of The Month on the 1st of February and leave me feedback on my facebook (www.facebook.com/jbeatzproducer) & Twitter (www.twitter.com/jbeatzofficial) and on Grime Forum add me and follow me on those sites big up everyone supporting look out for my vinyl EP’s and digital EP coming out in the year.

Wiley Feat. A-List - Lost In Space

The second track from Wiley's newly formed group 'the A-List'. Is Wiley turning into the UKs verison of T-Pain with all this autotune? I don't think it's a half bad track really. I've noticed a few people that aren't a huge fan of Wileys new movement, we'll see how long it lasts. Shout out to our friends over at Motion Promotion for this one.

Lowkey - Who Said I Can't Do Grime? - 120 Bars (Video)

To be fair, I can't say I've listened to Lowkey for a long time. I got introduced to him during the late period of '09. From the outset I was impressed by his lyrical content. Everyone has seen how Devlin never says 'head', he'll say something like 'cranium'. Something that's not the norm. Lowkey is the same. This so called 'mini video' showcases his talent. I don't see how 5 minutes of footage is a mini video, but oh well. Such examples as calling some people as "J-L-S M-C's" or how todays kids "youfs don't want gcses they want C-O-D on the P-S-3". Have a listen and make your own mind up on him.

Starkey Feat. P Money - Numb

Badness has already flowed over a Starkey beat, and now it's the OG front mans turn, P Money. The most well known Dubstep track P has spat over being 'Born Invincible' created by Sukh Knight. He's also spat over 'Up In Smoke' by the same producer on the 'Intro' of the free download, OGeezus. Starkey and P Money recently hooked up to make this latest track. More Grime artists need to learn to spit over Dubstep rather than Funky House.

Skepta - Bad Boy Remixes

The other day I put up the download link for the Skepta - Bad Boy Acpella track. There's been many remixes to this posted up on Grime Forum. So Grime, some not. To have a look at all the remixes so far, click here. My personally favourite though is being by the producer Rowntree. He's produced tracks for both Big H & 9 Milli Major of Bloodline. Check his remix below alongside the video of it.

Another Mitchell Brothers Interview

A few weeks ago, the duo caught up with Grime Daily to talk about where they've been, what they've been doing and what we can expect from them in 2010. This time Nitevisions did the same but in a shorter version.

Skepta on Big Brothers Big Mouth

Last week some of you Big Brother fans may of spotted the Grime artist on the show, some of you may of not. I wouldn't of unless JME tweeted it and UKRecordShop.com didn't record it on their mobile phone either. It's a massive step for Skepta and the whole of the Grime scene. Check the video links below. Remember, they are mobile phone quality and are VERY quite. So turn your speaker up...a lot. I would put the videos on here, but for some reason I keep having HTML problems. So click here for video one, and here for video two.

Dirty Danger & Words - Westwood Freestyle

Not actually sure how old this is. It got uploaded recently, but Westwood takes ages to upload. He's only just uploaded the Dream McLean freestyle from back in August. Either way, it's good to see Dirty Danger (centre right) back on our YouTube screens. Hopefully I'll be adding some tracks to my iTunes of his soon too.

Spyro - Napkin / Brockie's Jungle Set (Free Downloads)

In the run up to tonights event, Rinse FM have been giving away some free music via email. I got these two the other day when I checked my inbox. The first being by Rinse FM's own DJ Spyro entitled Napkin. Of course they won't be Grime, but it'll be a waste not to give away. Beside, I bet anyone who reads this isn't just into Grime, but other genres too. Spryo's track is Funky and something you'd bubble to with a few friends or whilst just sitting at home on a Sunday afternoon with nothing to do. The other download is Brockie's Jungle Set from the last FWD >> + Rinse FM back in November. So if your a fan of jungle, or just want to re-live that night, download by click here for Brockie's set, and here for Spyro's tune.

Frisco - F64 (Rap)

Here is the second F64 from the Boy Better Know crew member Frisco. First was the Grime version, now the Rap version. Frisco for me was the best out of all six F64s from the other day, this Rap version is very good too. I personally prefer the Grime version though. Watch the video below and make your own mind up.

Little Nasty, Badness, Dizzle Kid - Freestyle Part 2

The other week I brought you part 1 with Little Nasty, Badness and Dizzle Kid spitting over Rude Kid's beat Electric. Today we have the same three guys, but part 2. Outside West Ham Station this time it's mainly Badness out of all of them putting his lyrics out there in front of the DTA camera. Little Nasty & Dizzle Kid do have a go too, but it Badness' signing that is the main part of the video. Looking forward to see what all three of these artists bring to the table this year.

Lee Brasco Presents 'Winter Jacket Vol. 1' (Free Download)

It's finally here. Click the picture to download. Click here to see my blog the other day about it (including tracklisting).

J Beatz - 1st of the Month (Artwork + Tracklisting)

The young producer J Beatz has decided to give away a free promo of beats with the help of Team Supreme. Mainly remixed ones really. The promo was originally 9 tracks strong, but an extra 3 have been added. That's the beauty of MP3 downloads, you can add and take away as you please. Expect remixes of Dot Rotten, Wiley and even Tempa T. Click here for the tracklisting.

Logan Sama Feat. Calibar (26/01/10)

I'm a little late, I forgot to post the link as usual on a Tuesday. Oh well, below are the download links to the latest show featuring Calibar. Download his latest mixtape thanks to SK Vibemakers here.

Short set with Calibar: MediaFire
Full Interview & set: MediaFire

New Star In The Hood

Tinchy Stryder I think is still over in L.A, and whilst there, he's been discussing new clothing for his range 'Star In The Hood'. I remember when I got one for £10 back in the day...Here's a new idea for the range. It's look siiiiiccckk I think! I don't know about rocking one nowadays, they are a bit bait. Well done to Tinchy though, come alongway since the £10 editions...

Newham Generals - Daily Duppy

A couple days back, Footsie and D Double E hooked up with Grime Daily for the 'Daily Duppy', and if your wondering, yes they did. The Newham Generals as they are known when together came with their best bars for the camera and reminded us why they are Grime legends.

VISA Problems for N-Dubz Dappy

I was flicking through The Sun yesterday and caught this little article. It seems Dappy's 'colourful' past has landed him in a spot of bother. The N-Dubz star can't seem to get a VISA into the USA due to it. Band members Tulisa and Fraser have had to chip in a few quid to try and help him out. See guys, you may be 'bad' and do music, but it could cost you if you want to crack somewhere else other than your homeland. Read more here.

Bashy Feat. Loick Essien - When The Sky Falls

As well as a feature on the new Gorillaz album alongside Kano as I mentioned earlier, Bashy also recently hooked up again with Loick Essien. The last time being the infamous track 'Black Boys'. Another MistaJam exclusive ripped straight from his show and put onto YouTube. Not a bad track, something different. Can't put my finger on a genre.

Craiigg Feat. P Money & Blacks - Say It 2 My Face (Free Download)

Before you say anything, this has been out a while, but how many of you have the CDQ? Literally, straight from the CD? Not many I don't think. I got the CD thanks to Mute and Craiigg a couple of weeks back as part of his promo campaign. If you want a CD email Mute91@live.co.uk with your name and address with the title 'Craiigg This Is Your Home Promo CD'. Listen and download todays free daily download below via DivShare.

Slew Dem on 1Xtra

The Slew Dem crew passed through DJ Cameo's show yesterday and Tempz performed a couple of tracks for the BBC cameras. The Pirate sessions are back, and Cameo got the decision right for the first act for the return of. Below are a few videos of Tempa T performing 'Next Hype' & 'Parring Guys' alongside some audio thanks to Lemon of Grime Forum. Click the above photo to take yourself to the 1Xtra website for more photos and audio.

Download (above video audio) via MediaFire or Rapidshare

Catch Up With Kano

SoulCulture.co.uk caught up with the former N.A.S.T.Y Crew member to catch to him about his forthcoming feature on the new Gorillaz album alongside Bashy. Something different. Not the first time Kano's worked with them and Bashy takes time out from acting to make a new track it seems. The album has only been three years in the making. Only...

Rude Kid / Mizz Beats - Latest Vinyl Releases

Rude Kid - Jack Daniels EP

Sadly, Electric isn't on this vinyl, buy four other decent instrumentals are. The first track being the reason for the title of the EP, Jack Daniels. You'll recognise them I'm sure. I'll YouTube link you to the tracks as the sample previews aren't working on UptownRecords for some reason. Jack Daniels has been played a lot on sets across 2009. The link is a loop, not the offical track. The second of the four track is called 'London Town Remix'. This was originally made by 'Man Like Me' and remixed by JME on the vocals and Rude Kid on the beat. Even a little video was made for it. You may recognise the third track due to P Money spitting over the beat once on a Westwood set back in Auguest. Click here to lsiten to 'Emergency'. The best audio I can find for the last track of the vinyl is during the Royal T Boxing Day Mix. Search through and listen to track nine for it. Nothing short of what Rude Kid does best for the instrumental 'Best Crawler' Feat. Terror Danjah. Click the artwork to get the vinyl. When the digital release is ready, I'll let you know.

Mizz Beats - My World / The Jester

If your thinking "I recognise that name..." but your not sure where from, it's probably from here. Yes, it was Mizz Beats who remixed that one time Channel U banger. This time she's back with a two track instrumental vinyl for you. The beats aren't half bad in fact. Shame I don't have anything to play it on. Preview the beats on Chemical Records (click to take yourself to the product) before purchasing as there's nothing on YouTube.

Aaron Hanson - Reprezent London Radio Set (25/01/10)

Aaron brings new artists into the building each week, demonstrating their talents. Aaron Hanson is a young radio DJ from London playing the best of Urban music from the UK. He has a weekly radio show on Represzent Radio on Monday at 6pm. Here's his latest episode, click the picture above to take yourself to the website to listen.

Skepta - Bad Boy Acapella (Free Download)

The other day Plastician gave away a free instrumental for MCs to spit over and producers to remix, Skepta has done the similar. He has done something similar. Skeppy has given away the acapella version of his latest track 'Bad Boy' and he wants anyone and everyone to remix it! So, download and make a Bassline version, another Grime version or a Dubstep version if you really wish. Click the picture to get the link.

Double S, Shocka & Vertex (Marvell) - F64

SB, please slow down. 9 million views on YouTube and nearly 1 million on your newly formed website? I can't keep up! Yes views, three new F64s. As is six the other day wasn't enough? This time we see the Marvell boys lay down some lyrics for us. Their word play is fantastic with constant references to SB TV and F64 in their bars. I'll give a quick write up on each one like I did the other night.

Vertex - "This F64 will kill 'em no doubt" - Yep. Vertex went in on this one with a more quick flow for the upbeat track he spat over. You'll also see the boys with their infamus 3way spittin' too. As I said about F64 references, check 2:25mins onwards, you'll see the wordplay there, appreciate it.

Shocka - Shocka was the complete oppisite to Vertex. I'm glad he was, it would of been boring if they all spat the same. He came with a slower and more melow flow to his F64. Shocka speaks about bring his mates through in his bars. Real talk basically and not hyping about 'shanks, guns and white and brown' like a lot of MCs. "Leap sixty floor", that's his F64 reference.

Double S - Sorry, but how can Double drop these bars seconds into his F64?! "If the industry was a desktop, I'd be an icon, and you'd be the background". That has to be my favourite quote out all of three F64s! Double also has a fast but controlled flow with this one. A good selection of beats throughout for these. "If I'm not on TV, you'll know where S be". Can anybody stop these guys in 2010?

JME Feat. Wiley - Sidetracked (Video)

So I clicked on my YouTube subscriptions today whilst at college and noticed this little number. Wow, it's pretty good. A very professional and well put together by whoever was behind the camera for this video (edit: just found out it was Staple House). This is more than Channel AKA activity, hope to see this on MTV Base and Kiss to push towards a wider audiance. More of a melowed track by the Boy Better Know member compared to such tracks as 'Serious' and 'Too Many Man'. I like it myself. Download from Febuary 21st. Shame Wiley didn't feature in the video, again.

Tempa T - Par TV #2

Episode two of Par TV by Tempa T. Beware, this contains strong pars and very offence jokes throughout. If you easily offended, I recommend you click that little red cross in the corner. If your not though, watch it. Pars upon pars.

J2K Feat. Raquel Gracie - Flirt (Free Download)

I know I'm a bit late, but I've got so much stuff bookmarked, I have to pick and choose stuff. Here was have the Roll Deep'er who has recently signed Wileys A List. Not a bad track by the man they call J2K infact. Something different. Not really Grime like his Roll Deep days. Click the picture to download.

OGz - Hot Ones (Offical Video)

The latest video from SB.TV & OGz dropped last night. It was track 13 from P Money's mixtape 'Money Over Everyone'. Yep, Hot Ones aka OGz Madness! Glad they made a video to this one, has to be one of my favourite tracks from the mixtape and Grime mixtape of the year voted at the OMAs. Looking forward to more work from both SB and OGz personally.

Skepta - Been There Done That (Release)

I forgot this even came out today! We'll it's now up to buy exclusivly at UkRecordShop. I mentioned it a few weeks back here. Tracklisting here. I've done a few articles involving this release, click here (B O double S video), here (B O double S Download), also here (2 + 2 Download) and finally, here (Big Bars Audio)

OGz / Devlin- Risky Roads Lost Tapes

Thanks to Risky sending these over to me yesterday, been busy though. Anyway, here they are, the latest editions to the 'lost tapes'. A few of these have popped up over the past couple of days from Risky and there's more to come! Catch OGz from a couple years back spittin' bars as well as Devz & Dogzilla. Looking forward to see what else Risky has up his sleeve!

Logic Beat: 'Waves' by Undaground Soundz

Here is a quick video from the all-round producer Undaground Soundz. He shows us what he used to create his latest beat, Waves. It's Dubstep, yes. To me, it sounds like a 'Dark Knight' remix, or at least inspired by it. What do you think? Leave comments if you wish.

Once Upon A Grime Meets Likkle P (Interview)

I recently caught up with Likkle P of Nu Brand Flexx to see how the crews latest track 'Emergeny' has done, what he's doing personally in 2010 and what he thinks of MCs freestyling.

Name: Likkle P
Age: 22
Location: London
Crew: Nu Brand Flexxx
Occupation: Artist

OUaG: Like I said to your crew member InfaRed, there’s a whole new group of 2010 fans, can you explain to these guys who you are?

LP: We are a unique collective of musicians.

OUaG: Also when I interviewed him, Emergency had just been released. How have the figures gone for that? Better than expected?

LP: To be fair, Emergency, I feel did its job.

OUaG: How’s the mixtape coming along too? Mid-January to early February I got told. Still on target? Will it be strictly Grime? Or a mixtape to appeal Nu Brand Flexxx to a wider audience?

LP: Yer the mixtape is complete it’s just a matter of art work, mixing and mastering. It's all 140 bpm and will be appreciated by all who appreciate 140bpm.

OUaG: You uploaded a freestyle at the start of the year, how many people do you think can actually ‘freestyle’ these days? Pro. Green & Sway being two good examples of that.

LP: To be fair, I think anyone can once you've had a drink or a smoke you won't shut up (laughs).

OUaG: This time last year, Grime was dying. I turned to Dubstep for a while. So far this year it’s started with a bang. Do you think this’ll continue or come June, everyone will have run out of ideas?

LP: Like, Grime is the grass roots for everyone. It's were you master your trade. It’s where you find your identity, the reason people move on from it. It is not because they think its pants or what have you. It's just 'progression', that's all.

OUaG: On the subject, what ideas you got for yourself in 2010?

LP: 2010 going on what I just said is about progression. If you're in a better place than you were the previous year then that’s what counts.

OUaG: Can we see any collaboration this year? Anything lined up?

LP: It's most definitely important to get your voice heard, and I like every other mo’fo have a lot to say. So collabs most def’.

OUaG: On the same subject of the future, where can we catch the crew performing live?

LP: We are playing Sound in Leicester Sq this Sunday (31st)

OUaG: Not many MCs reach radio anymore, but it’s starting to increase now. How important is this for the scene?

LP: Again I think it’s a good place to home your skills/talent and the bonus is you're getting heard at the same time. So if they can people shouldn't look down their noses at it.

OUaG: Can we catch you on any anytime soon? Or are you not that sort of artist?

LP: You can catch me anywhere if you see me, come say hi.

OUaG: As this quick interview comes to an end, anything you’d like to say or any shout outs?

Ghetts Feat. Maxsta & Dollar Da Dustmasn - Skadoosh Remix (Free Download)

Wow, how Kid D did this I have no idea. Taking a hype track and putting it over a slower and more melow beat is amazing! He hasn't simply done that, Maxsta has new bars for the remix. The track coming from the Logan Sama show the other week. You can say and think what you want about Maxsta, but his bars on here are pretty good. Click the above picture to download.

SNK - Midi Master EP (Showreel, Tracklisting + Artwork)

SNK is the producer responsibly for the instrumentals for OGz - Passin' Threw, P Money - Nah Breddah & Blacks & P Money - Not A Boy. As you can see, he works closely with the South London crew and their members. Below you will find the audio showreel from the young producer. So far he's produced so many bangers I think, he's a promising producer. Look out for this one. Tracklisting above the video (below this), here's the backcover. It was originally 9 tracks, now 10. Forty Thieves has been added as track 9, and Chilli Plant pushed to track 10.

Tracklisting

01.Ming
02. It's Me
03. Slasher
04. Hope Im Joking
05. Writers Block
06. Wavy
07. Pinball Wizard
08. Drama School
09. Forty Thieves
10. Chilli Plant

Roll Deep - Animal Attraction (Free Download)

Roll Deep are back (no pun intended). This time it was played by their friend DJ Target on 1Xtra, and this is where the rip and download comes from. The track is more Funky House than anything though. Over 6minutes long due to wheels. Click the picture to download todays free daily download.

Six New F64s Shot by SB.TV

Twitter: "SBTVOnline - Ok call today F64 day". You should do. Yesterday SB released six F64s. The work rate has increased dramatically by this young cameraman. The 6 artists featuring were Frisco, Margs, Young Teflon, Master Shortie, Mercston & Buck London. Normally one or maybe two a week we get excited about, but six within 24 hours? Wow, SB, slow down. I'll give a quick breakdown of each one to sum them up.

Frisco - The Boy Better Know member has apprently done two F64s. One Grime, one Rap. His word play is unbelivable in this one of hopefully two editions. He comes with his classic flow and of course, a brand new F64. He also switchs to a sort of 'When I'm 'Ere' flow. You know the Roll Deep track? I know he wasn't invovled, but he goes on to say 'Can't diss Joesef when I'm 'ere, can't diss JME when I'm 'ere'. Sort of similar, no?

Margs - I haven't really heard much from this guy. The latest videos are a mixture of known, and lesser known names, this falling into the second section. But out of the six shot, this has to be near the top. Not sure whether to rate this at number one or number two for me personally. He goes in on this one. Keeping an eye out for this guy in 2010.

Youngs Teflon - I've heard of this guy, but haven't heard anything from him. Youngs Teflon spits with a more slow flow compared to the others. Hence why his video is the longest of them all. I'm glad SB has brought in some of the lesser known guys, he's exposing their talent. Just like Margs, I'll follow Young Tefs too now.

Master Shortie - I was suprised to see him infront of the F64 camera. Not somebody I'd expect to lay down some bars. I'm glad I watched though. Some of the bars are mad! "You've got lyrics, but your flows are missing, something like my father" Wow, Master Shortie, well done. ADHD is avaliable to buy now.

Mercston - If I'm honest, out of all six, I was expecting a bit more from Mercs. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad, but not what I thought it would be. Four out of five stars on YouTube votes, so not everyone is like me when it comes to bars. Hopefully we'll see a mixtape soon from Mercston. Looking to hear some more material from him after his latest track, 'Smooth'

Buck London - Last but not least, Buck London. He has a more aggresive flow than anything. He gives it his all during his F64. Who can blame him? SB has a large following and if you get filmed by him for a F64, you have to go for it. Everyone remembers the classics, and if you don't take your chances, you'll be forgotten quickly.

Wizzy Wow & Tippaly - Baileys & Passports (Free Download)

It's Sunday, have a free mixtape like every Sunday. This week is by Wizzy Wow & Tippaly entitled Baileys & Passports. Click the picture to download.

Plan B Features in The London Evening Standard

Another thing I've had bookmarked for a few days, and simply forgot about. Plan B got a nice little write up in The London Evening Standard about how he's transfored 'from hoodie rap to true soul man'. That's one way of putting it, he has changed. I'm not complaining though. I like some of his earlier stuff, not all of it, but I do prefer his latest to his prior work. Read the article by clicking the above picture.

Wiley Presents The A-List - Midnight Lover

Yep, this is the track I told you about a couple of days ago. Ripped straight from MistaJam's 1Xtra show and uploaded to YouTube (not by me personally). I was a bit skeptical when in the first couple of seconds I heard "Ladies, this one is for you...", not what I wanted to hear. Brazen & Wrigley jump on this track, but with singers now in 'The A-List', why is Wiley singing?

Lee Brasco Presents 'Winter Jacket Vol. 1'

After a heavy night out, I woke up to find these pictures in my inbox amongest the usual Facebook spam. This forthcoming Tuesday (26th), Lee Brasco is releasing his free promo entitled 'Winter Jacket Vol. 1'. In this free download you'll get such features as Rapid, Maxsta and That Man Fox. You would have seen I gave away the track 'Go Hard' with That Man Fox a few weeks back. It seems there is a mixture of tracks on this 10 track strong promo. So keep locked to the blog for the build up and download Tuesday. The tracklisting is below.

Wretch 32 & Scorcher - Ace & Vis Interview + Freestyle

I was listening to 'Leader of the New School' the other day, and Scorcher has come a long way since then. Yes, Wretch 32 is wearing King Apparel in the picture again. I can't get enough of the brand at the moment! The troublemakers at Radio 1 caught up with the duo from the Movement to have a quick chat and get them to lay down a quick freestyle for the cameras.
